Madison Avenue Central Park has two meeting facilities which can be rented for family reunions, weddings, and fundraisers. The new city park opened in 2016. Located on East Madison Avenue, the park has a splash pad and fantastic new playground.
The playground has an informative sculpture that teaches viewers about animals and their tunnels. Visitors can use the paved path for walking and biking. The two buildings (The Venue and The Pavilion) are available to rent and are ADA accessible. Madison Avenue Central Park is an important focal point of the neighborhood!

Rock River Rapids Aquatic Park is a city water park in Derby, KS. The outdoor aquatic park has swimming lanes, a lazy river, and water slides. They also offer swimming lessons. Have some cool fun for all ages!
You can rent the park for a private event like a birthday party. The water park is open June-August. Admission to the park is $9 for adults and $8 for children. Rock River Rapids Aquatic Park is a great place to cool off during the summer!

Field Station: Dinosaurs is a fun dinosaur attraction in Derby, Kansas. They have 44 life-sized dinosaur models that move! The park contains the duck-billed Claosaurus (which was first discovered in Kansas) and the mighty Tyrannosaurus Rex!
It has other activities such as Jurassic Mini-Golf and the Kansas Climb Rope Course. The dinosaur destination opened in 2018. Tickets are for all day so you can spend the morning at Field Station: Dinosaurs, grab some lunch at a nearby restaurant, and come back to the dinosaurs in the afternoon!
